David Harmon

President, Founder

As a Sacramento native, Dave has a passion for local community groups and sits on the board of the Ronald McDonald House, is a committee member for the local Construction Financial Management Association chapter, and is the President of the Central Valley Sigma Chi Alumni Association. As Co-Founder of The Council Dave hopes to “get more young men integrated within the local community and the charitable organizations that do amazing work here.”

Dave Harmon is a Senior Vice President for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this position Dave is responsible for managing the global banking relationship for Central Valley companies with $50MM to $2B in annual sales. Dave is a Certified Treasury Professional and has his Series 7/63 licenses. Dave has his Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Sacramento.

Noli Snobar

Treasurer

Noli, who is a Sacramento native and CSUS Alum, has found a passion in local charities.  Noli has served on boards and committees for Sierra Forever Families, the Construction Financial Management Association, The First Tee of Greater Sacramento, and now is absolutely honored to be a founding member of The Council.  He has also doubled as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve through Christmas Promise.

Noli is a partner at BFBA, LLP, and serves a variety of clients throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada including a focus in the Construction, wholesale and manufacturing industries. He has taught courses on construction accounting and GAAP Updates to various groups such as Construction Financial Management Association, Insurance Brokers & Agents of the West, the California Society of CPAs Sacramento Chapter, and various bonding and surety companies. He has also written articles for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of California.

Noli is a proud papa of three, and spends any free time with his wife of over 10 years and their rascals.

Dan Richardson

Secretary

Dan Richardson is an attorney with Knox Lemmon & Anapolsky, LLP. Dan’s practice focuses on assisting business and nonprofit clients on complex transactions and providing counsel on a wide range of corporate and business matters including entity formation, corporate governance, securities matters, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Dan was a commercial lender and also served in the United States Army with the 10th Mountain Division. Dan graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Economics and studied law at Gonzaga University.

Although he is originally from New England, Dan now considers Sacramento his home. When not assisting clients, Dan enjoys spending time with wife, volunteering, and exploring Lake Tahoe.

Shelby Elias

From the very first time you meet Shelby you’ll immediately notice his passion for Real Estate. He fell in love with the business at a very young age, so his expertise in the industry makes perfect sense.

He graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelor’s in Business Real Estate & Communications. He began working in the real estate industry nearly a decade ago, and understands whole-heartedly the many intricacies of the business both on a personal and professional level.

Shelby owns a local Real Estate & Mortgage Company He also owns a Real estate investment company specializing in residential development & renovation. He prides himself on running his business with the highest integrity, promoting a strong work ethic, and contributing to a positive work environment. Shelby has owned his Real Estate brokerage since 2009 and currently has over 100 Realtors and Loan Officers hanging their licenses under his brokerage.

Patrick Harbison

Community Outreach, Founder

Patrick Harbison is the owner of Patrick Harbison Public Relations (PHPR), a full-service public relations firm in Sacramento.

With more than 15 years of experience as a publicist, media consultant, publicity professional and media booker, Patrick leverages his extensive contacts within broadcast and print media to yield coverage for his firm’s diverse client base which includes marquee city-wide events, politically-minded organizations and daytime television actors.

Patrick is a three-time Hermes award winner, has been voted “Best of Sacramento” in various categories by both the Sacramento News and Review and the KCRA A-List and was selected as one of the Sacramento Business Journal’s top “40 Under 40” professionals in 2015. In 2016 the Sacramento Public Relations Association named him the Public Relations Professional of the Year.

Patrick is a dedicated advocate for Sacramento non-profits and regularly donates his time and PR expertise to area organizations including WEAVE, the Make a Wish Foundation and the Sacramento Children’s Home.

A lifelong Sacramento resident, Patrick lives in midtown with his dog Guinness.

Cory Harris

Cory has a passion for giving back and supporting our communities. You can find him running around town supporting any number of clients as the Managing Broker with Benefits Done Right or out with his wife, Kerri, and daughter, Isla, enjoying all that Sacramento has to offer.

A South Lake Tahoe native, he also has a passion for skiing and you can find him on the weekends at Kirkwood coaching athletes in the junior race program. Cory joins The Council with several years of board and chair experience through the Active 20-30 #1 of Sacramento service organization.

Tim Harris

Community Outreach

Tim Harris is the founder and CEO of Insight Public Relations, a Sacramento-based communications agency comprised of passionate creatives and storytellers. Insight helps companies connect with new and existing audiences through strategic positioning and dynamic storytelling on the channels currently capturing the world’s attention.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations from Sacramento State University, where he served as president of the Theta Tau chapter of The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. After receiving his degree, Tim worked for two years as the Director of Digital Media for Valley MRI & Radiology, Inc. 

A Sacramento native, Tim is a proud Jesuit High alumnus and has been involved in the local community since his days as an Eagle Scout. He currently serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Sacramento Area, as well as the Marketing & PR Committee Chair for the Sacramento Chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.

In 2015, Tim was a recipient of the Sacramento Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award.

David Sobon

David Sobon has consulted with hundreds of foundations, non-profits, service and religious groups around the country during the last 21 years, helping them fulfill their fundraising goals.

David is an active member of The Association of Fundraising Professionals, and also a part of their teaching faculty. As a member of The National Auctioneers Association, he earned the title of Benefit Auction Specialists. As a Board member for both the Children’s Miracle Network & Chevo’s Fund, his contributions have been felt community-wide.

David’s fresh and innovative ideas have given way to great and exciting events. It is David’s unique “Benefit Auction System” that allow organizations to raise more money and have more fun, all while changing the lives of those they serve. David says, “There is no better feeling than coming off the stage knowing you made a difference.

Greg Wellman

Community Outreach, Founder

Greg Wellman is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Mêlée Convergent Media an application development and marketing firm based in Sacramento. At Mêlée he supervises overall direction of the firm, product development and client campaign strategies. Versed in a variety of programming languages and applications including Ruby, PHP, CSS, HTML, Javascript and Adobe’s creative suite Greg oversees company resource allocation for development projects, content strategies, demographic research and digital strategy implementation.

Before launching Mêlée, Greg served as Marketing Director for the Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra and Marketing Manager for Wells Fargo Bank. He studied Economic History and attended graduate school at CSUS.

In 2008, he published “A History of Alcatraz Island 1853 – 2008” for Arcadia publishing. Greg serves on the board of the Sacramento Public Relations Association.
